MERIDEN ART NOUVEAU STERLING
SILVER BOWL
This is a
beautiful art nouveau center bowl bearing the Meriden Silver Co. mark.
Wonderfully
designed with a scalloped floral rim and indented sides and bottom.
This piece is
2-7/8 inches high with an 11-1/2 inch diameter.
The weight is
16.20 ozt.
This is marked
with the Meriden Silver Co. mark. Although International Silver did incorporate
Meriden into their company in 1898, the Meriden mark was used until the 1930's.
It also has the number 692 on the bottom.
This piece has
no monograms
This is a
gorgeous vintage piece that would add elegance to any table.
This bowl does have
minor scratching commensurate with age and use.
