LONDON GRAPHIC NEWS~1887~"AFTER THE DRAWING-ROOM"

This auction is for a double page newspaper print "AFTER THE DREAWIN-ROOM" by ARTHUR HOPKINS. It is an original from the LONDON GRAPHIC NEWS - 1887. On the top of the newsprint it says "668 - The Graphic, June 25 1887 - 669 " The print is of the bride and bridesmaids room. There is the title of the print "AFTER THE DRAWING ROOM" below. On the bottom left side of the print it says Arthur Hopkins. On the back of the print there is newsprint from the graphic, page 670 on left and 667 on right. The paper is dated June 25 1887 by the Graphic. The newsprint picture comes with a carboard frame. There is a crease of coarse in the centre of the picture from the original newspaper copy. There is also paper label on the frame which reads " ORIGINAL, LONDON GRAPHIC NEWS-1887, DONATION OF $40.00 - REQUESTED" The news print has come apart from the carboard frame but in good condition. The frame itself appears faded and looks like it has come apart. I purchased this print around 1980 or 1981 from an elderly lady who was selling her farm house and was moving to a retirement home. I came across this picture again which I had stored in a cubby room of my home for many years. I have had this print for many years and is an original to my knowledge.
