Up for sale is a KUSTOM LIDAR POLICE Sports Laser Radar Speed Distance Measurement Device Gun w a CARRYING CASE !
I have a pro Laser 2 Lidar/Laser gun.
This gun has been tested and looked at by my radar/Lidar Tech and checks
out perfectly fine. I have personally tested this gun and works flawlessly.
I have clocked, airplanes landing, people running, cars, bikes, and some
Large scale RC's.
It has a range of 4500 ft and will track to that distance if object is
large enough and gun is supported on a tripod.
It is also a range finder which is great if you want to know the distance
to an object up to a maximum distance of 4500 ft.
I have clocked vehicles in excess of 3000ft holding the gun and the optics
are astounding. Locks on quickly and retains target
acquisition to obtain constant reading. This gun also allows you to see
what direction you are clocking. Very easy to isolate moving objects with this
feature.
This gun can be used for a low budget police force wanting to obtain the
Lidar technology but have a budget that can not afford a brand new gun.
The Pro Laser 2 is great for the radar detector enthuisiast that wants to
test their equipment or to possibly make money on providing their own
reviews.
The uses are endless and these don't come by very often. If you are
serious about racing or any other moving motor sport, then this may be what you
are looking for.
As in the pictures you can see it has some use but in no way affects the
functionality of this gun. All buttons and features work exactly as they
should.
For all who are familiar with this gun it has the 5.10 Firmware
installed.
Here are some specs
OPERATION
â¢single-unit hand-held system
optional window mount
optional monopod/tripod mount
supply voltage -- car battery
â¢HUD (Heads-Up Display)
allows operator to view target, illuminated aim dot and target speed in one
window.
â¢Instant On
â¢stationary operation only
â¢measures speed and range for on-coming and/or going traffic
(also measures range of stationary objects)
â¢Target (moving) Acquisition Time
(longer time required for slower targets)
ProLaser II: 0.6 sec typical
ProLaser: 0.3 sec for 60 mph target
â¢stopwatch mode (ProLaser II only)
Operator measures (with ladar) distance between objects (stores distance in
ladar memory), and pushes a button when a target passes each object (ladar
calculates time between button pushes); ladar computes target speed from
distance (known) divided by time (button pushes); and displays calculated
target. Ladar does not transmit to calculate speed in this mode.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CONTROLS
â¢Transmit / Lock display
TRIGGER pressed -- transmitting
TRIGGER released -- display locked
speeds remains on display until next transmission
â¢Range Control -- set maximum range (5 foot increments) speeds displayed
â¢Speed Control
-- set minimum speed to activate output signal (camera, etc.)
-- indicates ladar set to measure traffic on-coming (+), going (-), or both
directions ()
â¢Speed Control and Test switches
-- both switches (pushed simultaneously) sets the ladar to measure only
traffic that is on-coming (TRGT APPR), going (TRGT RECD), or both directions
(TRGT BOTH).
â¢Test
Checks display LED segments, test memory, test accuracy, displays software
version (VERS/X.XX), displays programmed units (mph/ft or kmh/m), indicates on
HUD if programmed for speed or range (SPED/RANG) display (displays HELP if any
test failed). If failure detected operation is inhibited and the rear panel
displays FAIL/XXXX, where XXXX is a message code used by the factory.
â¢Stopwatch Mode (ProLaser II only)
Operator inputs distance (300 to 4500 feet, 1 ft increments) between
objects, and pushes a button when a target passes each object (ladar calculates
time between button pushes); ladar computes target speed from distance (known)
divided by time (button pushes). Calculated target speed displayed in target
window, elapsed time (to tenths of a second) displayed in range window. Ladar
does not transmit to calculate speed in this mode.
â¢Brightness -- adjust rear panel LEDs and HUD
â¢Volume control -- adjust aiming control tone
â¢On/Off (on handle) -- runs self-test (see 3 lines above) on power-up
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DISPLAYS / INDICATORS
â¢HUD
1/4 inch aim dot (no operator alignment adjustments)
speed or range (depends on software installed)
HELP in place of speed or range indicates status message on LEDs.
-- Low Volt (supply voltage too low, operation inhibited)
-- RFI (Radio Frequency Interference, operation inhibited)
â¢Target Speed Display (LEDs)
5 to 299 mph (8 to 480 kmh)
displays minus (-) in front of speed for receding targets
accuracy: +/- 1 mph (+/- 2 kmh)
Target range
4500ft Max
â¢Speaker
no tone -- no target
intermittent tone -- processing target
constant tone -- processing and displaying target speed / range
â¢Indicators
Transmitting
Power On
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
