During WWII families hung a Service Star banner in their front window. A Blue Star signified their son or daughter was on active duty in service of our country. A Yellow Star signified their loved one had been lost in battle. I have created this overwhelming ornament as a solemn reminder of the dedication to duty these brave individuals show or have shown for our country. It features a special cross-stitched Blue Star or Yellow Star on the front. The back of this impressive ornament can be personalized for your loved one featuring the years of service, rank and branch of the military (Made to your order). Layers of Red fabric are placed in a quilted motif over a 3" ball and then topped with Yellow tassels. Surrounding both sides of this solemn ornament is a band of Yellow braid creating a impressive remembrance of your loved one or to display proudly showing that your loved one is serving our country with honor.
