Item Description
This is a vintage Takito TT Green Plaid Charger Plate made in Japan in the 1930's. The plaid decoration is sometimes referred to as gingham or checkered or even tartan and comes on a cream colored base. It's marked Made in Japan and is definitely old. It measures 11" across and is in excellent used condition. There is a scratch through the transferware, but it'the center of the trivet or plate - whatever you prefer to call it. There is some crazing and staining on the charger, but no chips or cracks. This is a really neat art deco piece and would look great sitting under a green or white teapot or cracker jar.
