After you "BUY IT NOW", I will mail you the gift certificate along with detailed redemption instructions. It's that easy! There is no expiration date for this gift certificate, but the dining certificates you redeem it for expire after one year.

Here is a brief explanation of how Restaurant.com gift certificates work.
You redeem the Restaurant.com gift certificate for an equal amount of dining certificates for any of the more than 8,500 participating restaurants listed on the Restaurant.com website. Dining certificates come in denominations of $10, $25, $50 or more, depending on the restaurant. You don't have to redeem the entire amount at once. You can redeem some now and save some for later. Just keep track of your certificate number because you need it every time you redeem a portion. There are certain restrictions on the use of the dining certificates, the main one being that you have to make a minimum purchase. For example, in order to use a $25 dining certificate you need to spend at least either $35 or $50, depending on the restaurant. The other denomination dining certificates have similar minimum purchase requirements. I believe all restaurants require two diners, some restaurants do not accept dining certificates on Fridays or Saturdays, some exclude purchases of liquor in computing the minimum purchase, etc. If you have never purchased Restaurant.com gift certificates before, you should visit the Restaurant.com website and read the FAQs and enter your zip code to see the participating restaurants in your area and each restaurant's restrictions.

Instructions for redeeming gift certificate:
Go to http://www.theidealmeal.com
Click on the "Redeem Certificate" button
Enter your ten digit certificate code number
Enter the security code provided on the site (Image Below) and click "Submit"
Once the credit has been applied to your cart, enter a zip code or search by state
Choose your restaurant and dining certificate denomination
Click on "Add to Cart"
Repeat steps 6 and 7 for additional restaurants
Click "Check Out"
Verify the restrictions for the restaurant(s) and click on "Continue"
If you are not a registered member of Restaurant.com you will need to register. If you are a registered member then enter your email address and password.
Once all your information is verified click on "Submit"
After your order is finished processing click on the link provided on the confirmation page to view and print the certificate.
