Germany Flings Open Berlin Wall Arizona Daily Star. I was sitting in the stands at Oregon Ducks v. UA Wildcats football game when the announcement was made the Berlin Wall fell. The crowd was jubilant in the stands in 1985 on that day. People were weeping. My friend and his girlfriend were living in Luxembourg at the time and hear it was going to happen and made their way there and chunked me off a piece of the Berlin Wall which I actually have in a matchbox. I would consider selling it to accompany this newspaper if buyer also interested in the history artifacts of the Berlin Wall. An epic moment in our time!
