Item Description
Up for bid is this antique Farrington jewelry box. Medium green with gold trim decoration on the outside, inside is a dark pink satin brocade covering, in good condition. It has a few scuff marks on the outside, top and bottom, but not bad. It is marked Farrington and says genuine TEXOL on bottom. You can still see where the jewelry has been put in the box. When it opens up it has an upper double tray that rises out of it. The hinges and brass on it look to be in good condition. It is 9 1/2" long, 6 1/2" wide and 3" deep. It also has two keys to go with it. Made in Boston, MA some time it the 50's or early 60's, not sure of exact date.It would make a nice addition to any vanity.
