Description
You
are bidding on a set of FOUR different New Year cards printed in Israel
which fold out into a 3 dimensional card. There are 3 pictures in each
card, with various events from the Bible & Jewish tradition which
are depicted.
These
cards were printed in Israel soon after the victorious 6 Day War in
which Israel REcaptured the Western Wall from the hands of the Arab
terrorist state which stole it from the Jewish people.
The cards measure 17x12cm (7x5 inches) and are quite rare!
The following is a description of each card (in order of the scans provided):
1)
(left) Grandpa teaching grandson on how to make a blessing on the
Lulav,(center) Moses receiving the tablets on Mt.Sinai, (right)picture
of all the major Jewish holidays symbols. [ Green card ]
2)
(left) Man blowing the Shofar, (center) Praying at the newly liberated
Kotel, (right) Newly liberated David's Tower with Israeli flag hoisted
upon it. [ orange card ].
3) (left) Rabbi taking the Torah, (center) Cantor reading the Torah, (right) Cantor praying at the shtender. [Purple card]
4) (left) Abraham offering Isaac on the Altar, (center) Jacob's Dream, (right) samson killing the lion. [Blue card]
Excellent
condition. Happy New Year is printed in 4 languages on the card:
English, Hebrew, Spanish & French. I wll send 4 envelopes with each
