The Federal Glass Company was established as a hand operation in 1900 in Columbus, Ohio
They made pressed glass and mold-etched patterns. Glassware made in the 1910's was cataloged and the earliest pieces made were tumblers, salt and pepper sets, and goblets. During the 1930's, Federal created glassware using the chipped-mold method and the paste-mold method. In the 1940s and 50s Federal continued to produce tableware sets of colored pressed glass, like their "Heritage" pattern (1940-55) and "Star" which they made in the 1950s. Their "Park Avenue" pattern was made from 1941 through to the 1970s. They even produced "heat proof" sets with gold decoration, and their "Golden Glory" pattern (white with gold leaf sprays) was first made 1959-66 and then re-introduced in 1978.

Shipping within the U.S. via USPS with Delivery Confirmation will be $5.50. Insured U.S. shipping is optional but recommended as I cannot control what happens to your package once I hand it over to the Post Office. If you would like insurance please include $1.70 in the total. If you would like me to ship outside the U.S. please contact me for a shipping quote as international shipping rates will be higher.

Returns are accepted within 2 days of receiving item. Buyer must contact me at sanibelsheller@msn.com to initiate a return. Buyer pays all shipping fees. Item must be returned in the same condition it was shipped in, unopened or unworn if new etc. Items must be safely received by me before I will issue a refund.
