Item Description
From 1973 into the early 1990's the Elizabeth Arden Company produced a line of porcelain gift items for the Holidays that contained various fragrance items, mainly from their Blue Grass and Memoire Cherie lines. During the 1970's and 1980's, most were issued with a theme, as a 'Collection'. All pieces were produced in a limited edition, and for that year only. The smaller items are most common, and were made in greater numbers than the large pieces.
This is a beautiful porcelain gift item issued by Elizabeth Arden during the Holidays in 1980, part of the BYZANTIUM COLLECTION - the BYZANTINE LOVEBIRDS JAR. This porcelain onion-dome jar held Bath Oil Beads, in the Blue Grass Fragrance, for which Ms Arden was so famous. The jar is of white porcelain, highly glazed, and decorated with royal blue, gold and red. It is marked on the bottom, as shown in the second photo. It is approximately 5 inches (12.5 cm) tall, and in perfect condition, but empty. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, or if you need additional photos.

US Buyers pay USPS shipping with delivery confirmation; use the Shipping Calculator or contact me to determine shipping costs; insurance is included in my Handling Charge.
Buyers outside the US, shipping is by First Class International Mail. Insurance and Tracking is NOT available on this option. If you want it tracked and/or insured, it must be sent Priority Mail International. Please use the Shipping Calculator or contact me. Fees for these services are included in my Handling Charge.
