It is always best if a mutually beneficial resolution can be made between the Seller and Buyer. In this case, the item may be marked as "Seller Cancelled" which has no negative impact on the Buyer's reputation. This can be done at any time after the sale, and you may relist your item immediately.
If you believe the buyer acted carelessly and/or fraudulently, it may be appropriate to mark a buyer as a Non-Paying Bidder. This will directly affect the buyer's ability to continue to be a nuisance to other sellers.
In order to mark a buyer as a Non-Paying Bidder the following conditions must first be met:
1) Attempt(s) at resolution must have been made between Seller and Buyer (via the Webstore Message Board). 2) The Seller must give the buyer at least 3 days to respond (to the first contact) via the Webstore Message Board. 3) The Seller must give the buyer at least 10 days (from the item closing date) to pay.
After these conditions have been met, the Seller is entitled to mark the buyer as a Non-Paying Bidder.
Please be responsible when marking buyers as "Non-Paying Bidders" because doing so will reduce their buying abilities on Webstore.
It is up to you, the Seller, to decide which action best describes the Buyer's role in the transaction.
