Damascene Heart Pendent

This beautiful Heart Pendent is by Reed & Barton (ca; 1960's) and was made for their Damascene Jewelry Collection. It is an elegant collage of pure silver, burnished copper, bronze and 24KT gold electroplate. The lady I purchased it from told me she had purchased it in the 1960's and had nver worn it. It comes with the original booklet and box. Damascene jewelry was inspired by an ancient craft that florished in Damascus a long time ago. This rare new art medium, patented by Reed & Barton and done mostly by hand, gives an exciting dimension to the world's most time hnored metals - gold, silver, bronze and burnished copper.
