This is a copper wall plaque made by Coppercraft Guild, Taunton, Mass . There's lots of detail to this one with the blacksmith working on a horse's shoe with tools and a horseshoe. This piece was oxidized, then buffed by hand to bring out the highlights, then lacquer is applied to keep the copper from tarnishing. It measures about 12-7/8" across. Condition is fair because it has some bending on the edges. I'm not sure how easy that would be to fix. The copper is brighter than it appears in the pictures.
Still has the original sticker. The back of this piece has a paper foil label that reads "CopperCraft Guild, Taunton, Massachusetts" (see photo #3).
