The StorageWorks 16-Port Fibre Channel SAN Switch is pre-configured with Fabric Operating System software, WEB Based Management Tools, QuickLooptm FCAL emulation software for HP-UX and Zoning software. It enables enterprise-class scalability and high performance connectivity between servers and StorageWorks RA8000 and ESA12000 storage systems. It supports Universal ports, which self-configure to the type of device attached and automatically detects a fabric-attached device, a switch-to-switch connection or an arbitrated loop attached device. Each port offers 100MB/s bandwidth, and the switch comes with redundant and hot-pluggable cooling fans. A new version of the Fabric Operating System that provides backward compatibility between current Fibre Channel switches and the new models is included with the new switches, as is Compaq's WEB Based Management for ease of operation, support for SNMP and a command line interface for additional management functionality.

This unit is in good physical condition, normal scratches from use (see pictures). Unit powers on and seems to function fine, but due to the nature of the equipment we are unable to fully test it and all observations are for informational purposes only - so it is being offered AS-IS.
