This has to be one of the slickest little reels I've seen yet! At 3.4 ounces you won't even notice you have a reel on the rod.
Has
a 2.540 outside diameter with a .780 inch wide spool. The arbor measure
.630 inches in diameter. Now that should give you enough backing to
tangle with any trout that you would take on with a 2 or 3 weight line.
This
reel is die cast, machined where it needs to be, and has a neutral
clicker, meaning that the reel maintains equal pressure either way you
turn the handle. Left or right hand depending on which way you mount
the handle side.
It
is reminiscent of the very beginning of fly fishing, and if it were not
brand new, you'd think it was your Great Grandfather's original fly
reel! There seems to be a movement to go back to the old ways. This
sure would be a great place to start. I can picture this reel on a
vintage cane pole just looking like it belonged there for all of time.
