The good... This is a fantastic player withextremelyfast valves - probably the best I've ever played on. ML bore, free-blowing with lots of core. Can be very dark with the right mouthpiece, but really brightens up when pushed. An excellent all-round horn. And it just received an ultrasonic cleaning by Kanstul about a month ago (they also removed the lacquer while they had it.)
The bad... This horn appears to have had a pretty tough life before I bought it. There's evidence of previous trauma, mainly to the bell. Also all braces appear to have been removed and re-attached at some point.It's now in very good shape, but the work that's been done does show.
In short, it's not the prettiest horn you'll ever see, but it's a GREAT player!
