Based on the Blue's Clues TV show, this is a scavenger hunt game where children explore Blue's world to find presents, party hats, plates and other supplies needed for an upcoming birthday party. There are four adventures called pathways, each with a different set of clues and birthday items to find. It's fun but challenging, and kids may need help at times. There are a total of nine directed activities for which parents can set difficulty levels. These activities include matching objects and instrument sounds, making puzzles and fixing party favors. Kids can also make and print cards for Blue. Testers enjoyed the program, playing for hours at one time. Our two criticisms are minor. Kids have to get used to the cursor disappearing with each screen change. They often have to wiggle the mouse to find where the cursor is on the new screen. Also, the program ends when the three clues are found and the mystery is solved. Children accepted this but still wanted to go back to the unfinished aspects of each pathway.
