"Banished From Eden" is the fourth plate in the series "The Creation" by the artist Yiannis Koutsis. The plates are produced on Royal Cornwall China, the finest white porcelain by the Calhoun Collectors Society Inc. Each plate is 9 inches in diameter with a 24 carat gold rim, individually numbered in a presentation box, fully authenticated with a commentary booklet by Jonathan Paradise, Ph.D. This plate shows Adam and Eve, bewildered and discouraged, but not downcast, leaving forever the paradise of the Garden of Eden. The fruit of knowledge has been tasted and man and woman prepare-for eternity-to face the bittersweet consequences. This plate was produced in 1977

This limited-edition plate is number 6369CE, Plate IV of twelve plates comprising Koutsis's magnum opus, "The Creation." Created for Calhoun's Charter Edition series. The colors and design are rich and lush, depicting a young couple being expelled from Eden.
