Head Sculpture
Signed by Artist Brandon McClellan
Brandon has recently been focusing on the human head and various body parts and we are pleased to feature a few of these in our store. This creation reminds me of the PAPER BOY next door when I was a kid. It has a satin finish, it is signed and dated 2011 and is ~3.25" tall and 2.25" across. It will fit in a large mouth wine bottle and could be displayed as a wine bottle stopper. This paperweight comes direct from the artist's collection and is one of a kind item.

Brandon is a very talented up and coming glass artist right here in
Minneapolis, Minnesota.
His work has been featured in several shops in our
Minneapolis area and he has gone on to teach other students in this career path. We are proud to show his works in our store!
Here is a little more about Brandon
Brandon says that the first time he became interested in glass was in high school where his art instructor introduced the class to glass blowing through a video featuring the famous Dale Chihully instructing his team of artists regarding his latest creation. He was immediately fascinated!
Fresh out of high school he discovered from a close friend that right here in Minnesota we had one of the best glass blowing programs available. He checked it out and they both signed up. Today Brandon and friend Joe have gone on to produce many collaborative sculpted glass pieces.
Under the instruction of Master Glass Blowers Bob Toensing and Eric Dahlberg, he has honed his skills, which has enabled him to create a great variety of self expression through his glass. Brandon has gone on to become an instructor at Foci/Minnesota Center for Glass Arts where he enjoys every minute of teaching others the skills and techniques of this captivating art form.
