Unused Vintage Postcard - Chrome
The American Scene Collection, American Oil Company, 1969 Promotional Postcard
This was an advertising give-away in the late 1960's.
Union
76 started this unique way of bringing customers in to their stations
in the late 1930's/early 1940's by offering weekly postcards and large
pictorial pictures of scenes primarily in the west. "Tour the west with
Union" was their attempt to get and retain the loyalty of their
customers.
American Oil Company got on the "bandwagon" with these postcards in the late 1960âs
There aren't many of these around anymore in good condition
and are becoming highly collectible. They came connected to each other
and were burst to give to the public so one side is perforated.
