This art is entitled, "The Sultan of Swat." It depicts MLB Legend, and former New York Yankees Slugger, Babe Ruth. I've always loved the worn and weathered look of ancient maps. I decided to attempt to capture that dynamic by artificially aging one of my graphite drawings. The result is a vintage, if not ancient, look which adds an extra bit of mystique to this Babe Ruth art card.
