Arthur plans his big birthday
party, but runs into a scheduling conflict with friend Muffy's party. As
children read and hear the story by Marc Brown, they find engaging animations
along with two activities. These are fun but limited. The Great Gift Mystery
asks kids to match gift-tags with their gifts, and Musical Pin the Tail on the
Donkey exposes children to different music styles. The story line is pleasant
and encourages kids to constructively work out conflicts. Children enjoyed the
story but wished for more interactive features like being able to play some of
the games at the party.
