This 6 inch Anri is sold carved WOOD figure titled "Merry Melody" it was issued in 1981 for $210. Current new Anris are made of a composition, not real wood. This is a figure that was created by Juan Ferrandiz Castells. He was a poet, artist, illustrator and author. It is in excellent condition with NO damage. Ferrandiz loved children, animals and peace. He tried to depicte this in his art as happy, light, entertaining and enjoyable way of making the world a better place to live. He died in 1997 so there will be no more desiged by him. This one is a limited edition, number 997 of only 2,250. It is getting harder to find the larger sizes as most that are made today are 3 inches or smaller. This little boy and rabbit will be a great addition to your Anri collection or a wonderful gift for that someone special that is sure to make them laugh and smile.
