Born in the small French town of Juan le Pins Joval started as a street painter at the early age of 12. Amazing the visitors as well as the locals by his ability to recreate scenes of places he might not have even visited just saw a small picture book, Joval became regarded as part of the landscape of this quaint town. Moving to Paris to further learn about and perfect his artistic style Joval was quickly discovered and given a one man show in a gallery on the Left Bank section of Paris. Enjoying fair success in Paris Joval needed to go back to his roots to create for the love and from his soul not for the critics. He returned to Juan Le Pins and has produced what he calls friendly / understandable art.
