THIS SERVING TRAY IS HALLMARKED WITH THE WHAT LOOKS TO BE THE LETTERS C & S FOLLOWED BY 2 STANDING LIONS WITH A CROWN ON TOP (indicating it might be from France, England or maybe Italy)......
THE GLASS DOUBLE SIDED SERVING TRAY LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL, AND IS IN PERFECT CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS OR CHIPS AND IS VERY THICK HEAVY GLASS.......
I DON"T KNOW THAT THIS SET IS NOT SILVER, BUT TO PLAY IT SAFE, I WILL CALL IT SILVERPLATE.....THE SILVER PLATE DISH AND COVER APPEARS TO BE VERY THICK & OLD, AND ALTHOUGH I CANNOT FIND A SILVER PURITY STAMP, IT IS HALLMARKED QUITE CLEARLY.......
