ANTIQUE SHOEMAKER TOOL SHAPE OF LADIES SHOE

I just did not know how to name this item but, feel pretty sure I know what is is or it's use was basically anyway. I believe this was a shoemaker's item used to repair or resole a woman's shoe. It is a mix of wood and metal and is heavy. 9" long, 3" high and 3" at widest point. "Sole" section is all metal with tiny nails showing all along the sides and 3 holes in center. I believe the top, which is all hardwood is oak, Atop the "ankle" area there is a metal lined hole that looks like some kind of rod probably fit inside. When I acquired this piece, it had a lacy bow applied and I guess it sat somewhere as a crafty type decoration for some time. I left that on it since it is glued. I tried to give you a decent picture of both the top and the bottom. I would call this as very good to excellent condition for such an old piece. Add 7.95 shipping US.
