Antique Thomas Edison Blue Amberol Cylinder Record
Edison introduced the celluloid Blue Amberol record in 1912 and production ceased in 1929
Edison Blue Amberol Cylinder Records are made of celluloid with a molded plaster of paris core
The early Blue Amberol cylinders
were made with a flat title end, just like their wax counterparts. From
1913 on, the Blue Amberols were then made with a beveled edge
The Blue Amberols originally
came in dark blue boxes until 1917 when they came in orange boxes. The
orange boxes lasted until the end of Blue Amberol record production in
1929

Measures just over 4 1/8 inches long
Some small chips and cracks in the bottom end lip which does not affect the playing or compromise the cylinder
Shipping within the U.S. via USPS with Delivery Confirmation
will be $5.00. Insured U.S. shipping is optional but recommended as I
cannot control what happens to your package once I hand it over to the
Post Office. If you would like insurance please include $1.70 in the
total. If you would like me to ship outside the U.S. please contact me
for a shipping quote as international shipping rates will be higher.

to initiate a return. Buyer pays all shipping fees. Item must be
returned in the same condition it was shipped in, unopened or unworn if
new etc. Items must be safely received by me before I will issue a
