We are located in Oregon, about 6 miles inland from the Central Oregon coast. And I really do live next to a creek in a very pleasant park like setting.
The sewing room, or as some like to call it, the studio is very bright and cheerful and just a pleasure to be in and I truly believe this pleasantness is passed through to the quilt. Energy always flows and when creating homemade crafts that energy exists in the project. Many people believe in the power of prayer quilts so there must be something to it. Of course, the shelves are just over flowing with fabric and patterns, books, floss, buttons and the walls are covered with my finished cross stitch projects. There are a few quilted wall hangings up and other home crafted items sitting around. Miss Piggy, our wonderful girl kitty shares the space and loves to "sunbathe" on her bench seat. Our home is smoke free and animal friendly.
