Item Description
This set of 4 Harrisburg Dairies advertising glasses were probably used to hold sour cream originally. They are vintage glasses from between 1940 and 1960 with the measurements on the sides of the glasses. Each glass also bears the Harrisburg Dairies logo which I believe was hand painted. The logo's are definitely faded, but 3 are still quite legible, while the 4th is barely legible. Each glass is 4 7/8" high and holds 1 cup with the measurement markers on the side. These include measurements for 1 to 8 ounces, 1/4 to 1 cup, 1 to 16 tablespoons, and 1/4 to 1/4 pint. I'm not sure if the logo and the measurements are hand painted or if they were decals or stickers on the glass. You can feel a raised impression on the outside at each letter or number. There are no chips or cracks. This is a great set for a collector of dairy items or local items from the south central Pennsylvania area. ONE BID TAKES ALL FOUR PIECES OF ADVERTISING MEMORABILIA!
