.....U.S. BIDDERS ONLY PLEASE....Here's an awesome uncirculated 1953 $2 C series red seal note that is as fresh and crisp as the day it was printed. This note has NO creases, folds, tears, stains or writing. The serial number is A78044340A and the signatures are Granahan/Dillon. These notes were only issued in four years. In 1928 the government issued $1, $2 & $5 red seal notes, in 1953 and 1963 only the $2 and $5 notes were issued and in 1966 only the $100 note was issued. These are all "legal tender" notes as you can see by the different inscriptions on the faces of the notes, not to be confused by today's federal reserve notes. These notes will never be made again and if one does go into circulation and finds it's way back to the treasury, it will be destroyed. These are a great collector's item and can only go up in value. This item will be shipped in the clear currency holder it is pictured in.
