2009-P Braille Silver Dollar PCGS MS 70 Registry Coin With
a population of only 277, these coins are pretty rare, and going to
stay that way. PCGS as yet has assigned no value to these. Since they
are more rare than the Lincoln MS70, I am going to guess the value they
assign will be almost the same. The Lincoln MS70 is valued at $175. The
Braille program was established to commemorate the 200th anniversary of
the Braille system, which gave the blind a way to read. The Obverse
shows a bust of Braille, while the reverse shows the image of a blind
student at a desk reading in Braille. In addition the reverse has the
coin information in Braille.
