Buddy Lazier was the winner of the Indianapolis 500 in 1996 which was the first season of the newly created IRL
The 1997 Indianapolis 500 was the 81st running and took 3 days to complete:
It was scheduled for Sunday, May 25th but it rained all day. The race was started on Monday, May 26th but was halted by rain after 15 laps, on Tuesday, May 27th the race was finally completed with Arie Luyendyk as the winner amidst controversy over the final lap
Overall great condition, the corners are slightly soft
