This is a very nice set of 4 different (Thur, Fri, Sat, & Sun) 1987 Masters Tournament Pairing Sheets . These pairing sheets are only available inside the gates of the Augusta National Golf Club during the Masters Tournament in April.
The front of the pairing sheets have a nice map of the Augusta National Golf Course and a message to spectators from the late Robert Tyre Jones, Jr.. The back of the pairing sheets has player pairings and tee off times. These pairing sheets look very nice framed.
The 1987 Masters Tournament was won by Augusta native Larry Mize. Mize defeated Greg Norman and Seve Ballesteros in a thrilling sudden-death playoff at the 1987 Masters. Ballesteros was eliminated on the first extra hole. On the second, the par-four 11th, Mize missed the green to the right but successfully negotiated a spectacular 140-foot pitch and run for birdie that would give him the title. The Augusta native leapt for joy before a shocked Norman, who subsequently failed to sink his tying birdie putt. The 1987 Masters Tournament was one of the most memorable moments in Sports history.
These pairing sheets are a very nice Masters collectible and they have been stored in a smoke-free environment for 18 years. The pairing sheets are in Mint / Near Mint condition.
