1974 Welch’s Looney Tunes Sylvester And Tweety Jelly Jam Jar Glass
I have four of these identical jelly glasses listed, the only difference in the four glasses is the cartoon character that is embossed on the bottom, this glass has Porky on the bottom
Welch's began the tradition of packaging jelly in commemorative jars that were designed to be used as drinking glasses in 1953. Its first subject was Howdy Doody. It was such a success that new series were released every couple of years. Others who were honored included Davy Crockett, the Flintstones (three different series released in the early 60's), the Archies, Bugs Bunny and other Warner Brothers characters, football teams, Tom and Jerry, Dr. Seuss, and many others
This Warner Brothers Sylvester and Tweety jelly or jam jar glass measures 4 1/4 inches high
Its 1970s graphics are in terrific condition with no chipping or fading
No chips or cracks
The glass shows Tweety Bird sliding down a slide and Sylvester being smacked on the head by Granny with her broom
The bottom of the glass has an embossed cameo of Porky Pig with PORKY underneath

Shipping within the U.S. via USPS with Delivery Confirmation will be $5.50. Insured U.S. shipping is optional but recommended as I cannot control what happens to your package once I hand it over to the Post Office.
