1971 Welch’s Archie Comics Jelly Jam Jar Glass
Welch's
began the tradition of packaging jelly in commemorative jars that were
designed to be used as drinking glasses in 1953. Its first subject was
Howdy Doody. It was such a success that new series were released every
couple of years. Others who were honored included Davy Crockett, the
Flintstones (three different series released in the early 60's), the
Archies, Bugs Bunny and other Warner Brothers characters, football
teams, Tom and Jerry, Dr. Seuss, and many others
This Archie’s Comics jelly or jam jar glass measures 4 1/4 inches high
Its 1970s graphics are in terrific condition with no chipping or fading
There
is a mark in the glass which looks like a small scratch but it almost
feels like it is a ripple from when the glass was made
The glass shows the Archie relaxing in his car while the gang struggles to push it
The bottom of the glass has an embossed cameo of Hot Dog with HOT DOG underneath

Shipping
within the U.S. via USPS with Delivery Confirmation will be $5.50.
Insured U.S. shipping is optional but recommended as I cannot control
what happens to your package once I hand it over to the Post Office. If
you would like insurance please include $1.70 in the total. If you would
like me to ship outside the U.S. please contact me for a shipping quote
as international shipping rates will be higher.

Returns
are accepted within 2 days of receiving item. Buyer must contact me at
sanibelsheller@msn.com to initiate a return. Buyer pays all shipping
fees. Item must be returned in the same condition it was shipped in,
unopened or unworn if new etc. Items must be safely received by me
before I will issue a refund.
