This is an old piece featured in the Kanawha Glass catalog of 1967. Kanawha Glass, located in Dunbar West Virginia ceased making glass under that name in the 1980's. It is still in operation under another ownership, I believe. I am listing 3 pieces of their glass today. I acquired these from an elderly neighbor who, for years, collected Kanawha glass and, in her words and with a sweet smile, has now switched to collecting "angels". The piece can be seen in the very middle of the page of glassware is exactly like this one I am selling. 13" high with the lovely applied "rope" glass roping about piece. When I first saw this item, I thought for a moment it was an oil lamp. See the similarity? This is a reproduced page from the catalog of 1967. Add 12.95 shipping US. I accept most forms of payment and will combine shipments whenever practical.
