1952 WASHINGTON SILVER QUARTER DOLLAR PROOF NGC PF66 CAMEO Early modern proofs packaging allowed the coins to slide around freely, and a lot of coins suffer from hairlines and are clouded, have milk or glue spots, or mishandled. Scarce in grades PF65 or better and even scarcer in CAMEO.The 1952 is the next key behind the 1950 in Washington Cameo's.Very nice for a 1952. This example has some of the imperfections that I've described earlier.My scanner for what ever reason does not like coins in NGC and PCGS holders.These scans are poor at best the coin does look better than the scans represent. The 1952 Proof Mintage is 81,980!
