Here is a hardcover book
entitled "Surgery of the Ambulatory Patient", by L. Kraeer Ferguson,
with a section on Fractures by Louis Kaplan. There are 645
illustrations, and some of them are pretty gross and graphic! Published
by J. B. Lippincott Company. Copyright 1942. This is the February 1945
reprint.
This large book covers just
about every kind of surgery that there is, and you will get to see some
things that you really don't want to see.Just so you know in advance ~there are some nude photos in this book.
Some of the items covered in the
book are ~ surgical equipment, anesthesia, surgery prep, dressings,
treatment of infection, rabies, burns, cysts and tumors, polyps,
dislocations, and SOOO much more.
The 932 page book measures 6 1/4"
x 9 1/4". It is in really nice overall condition, with the spine nice
and tight. There is barely any wear to the covers. There is light toning
to the pages. I did see a few lines of underlining and a few check
marks on pages. A name and date are written inside the front cover along
with "library discard". There is no other indication of it being a past
library book.
