1940s Heisey Crystal Glass Oscar Sparky Plug Horse
Original elegant glass Heisey crystal plug horse made in the 1940s before the Heisey factory closed in 1957
This
is an unmarked Heisey piece. Not all Heisey pieces were marked, a lot
of the pieces had only a paper label identifying them as Heisey
When
the Heisey company went out of business in 1957, the Imperial Glass
Corporation of Bellaire, Ohio, bought the existing molds from Heisey in
1958. Imperial Glass went out of business in 1984 and all of its assets
were sold by liquidation in 1985. The Heisey Collectors of America
organization was fortunate to be able to purchase most of the existing
Heisey molds formerly in the possession of Imperial. HCA does make some
limited quantity special edition items for their members, but these
pieces always have an HCA mark, which includes the year of reproduction.
And to further prevent them from being confused with older glass, the
color chosen for a limited edition piece is never one originally used by
A.H. Heisey & Co. when the company first made the item.

This clear crystal Heisey horse is known as Oscar or Sparky The Plug Horse
He
measures 4 1/4 inches high and is in terrific condition with no chips
or cracks, he does have some light scuff markings on the underside of
his base, a small area of scuffing on his left hip and a very tiny chip
in the edge of his tail
Shipping
within the U.S. via USPS with Delivery Confirmation will be $9.95.
Insured U.S. shipping is optional but recommended as I cannot control
what happens to your package once I hand it over to the Post Office. If
you would like insurance please include $1.70 in the total. If you would
like me to ship outside the U.S. please contact me for a shipping quote
as international shipping rates will be higher.
I
do combine shipping on multiple purchases. Please contact me with any
questions. I do ask that I receive payment for items within 7 days or I
will relist the item(s).
For
payment I accept Google Checkout, Pay Pal, U.S. money orders and
personal checks. I will not ship this item until your personal check has

Returns
are accepted within 2 days of receiving item. Buyer must contact me at
sanibelsheller@msn.com to initiate a return. Buyer pays all shipping
fees. Item must be returned in the same condition it was shipped in,
unopened or unworn if new etc. Items must be safely received by me
before I will issue a refund.
