1937-1939 PINK ALADDIN "QUEEN" KEROSENE/OIL LAMP MODEL B-98
Salutations! I am a former Ebay Seller who finally had enough of paying final value fees on shipping. This is my first listing here, I hope this will be a successful business venture.
Like everything else I have sold, this lamp has been stored (yes, in my attic) for over 30 years.
Aladdin's "Queen" series featured White, Blue, Green & Pink "Moonstone" glass founts with scalloped edge over a vertical ribbed pattern. On some models, their base was offered in either silver or gold color plating.
This beauty stands 14" to the top of the burner, there's no chimney. Unboxed it weighs 4 lbs, 13.6 ozs.
The burner has a slight dent on top (see picture). The dial is stamped (from top to bottom) "Mantle Lamp Co.", "NU-TYPE", "Model B", "Aladdin", "Patents Pending", :"Made in U.S.A.", "Chicago, Ill.".
The fount glass is a pink "Moonstone" color which unscrews easily from it's metal base. There's some chips around the filler cap hole, the filler cap is missing (see pictures).
The plating on the base is worn and peeling. Overall, it is still a very nice piece.
