15 Cobra Drive Nail Masonry Anchors
Here we have some Cobra brand Drive Nail Anchors, pictured below. No other hardware pictured, is being offered for sale on this page.
These are used for attaching things to concrete, bricks, cinder-blocks etc. They are 1/4 inch in diameter, and 1-1/4 inches long.
To use, simply drill a hole with a 1/4" masonry bit, 1/1/2 inches deep and clean the hole out. Next, pass the anchor through the item you wish to attach and into the hole you just drilled. Push the anchor in all the way so your attached item is against the material you drilled and the head of the anchor is against the item you are attaching and drive the nail in with a hammer. That's it, you are finished.
I used these to attach a gate latch to a cinder-block wall, and they hold great and have a nice, finished appearance.
They are tamper resistant, because there is no place for a wrench, screwdriver or pliers to grab hold.
These are rated at 200 pounds pull out force (tension) or for supporting 375 pounds when hanging something on a vertical surface (shear).
Made out of zinc with zinc plated nails to weather well. Often used for mounting mailboxes, electrical outlets, address numbers, signs, rain gutter downspouts etc.
