MY NAME IS SUSAN HIGH CLOUD. I AM A TRIBAL MEMBER OF THE WACCAMAW INDIAN PEOPLE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. I HAVE A CERTIFICATE AS A NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN ARTIST AND A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE; PUBLIC LAW 101-644. I WILL INCLUDE A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY WITH THIS FEATHER HAIR TIE.

I AM NOT VERY SKILLED AT TAKING PICTURES BUT I WILL DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE THIS HAIR TIE.

THE HAIR TIE IS MADE WITH A NATURAL BARRED ROCK WING HEN FEATHER, REAL LEATHER, AND COLORFUL BEADS.
I USED NO GLUE IN MAKING THIS HAIR TIE. THE TIE WILL HANG ABOUT 9 INCHES LONG. YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE ANY CLIPS OR PINS. SIMPLY PULL A STRIP OF YOUR HAIR THROUGH THE LOOP AND PINCH THE SIDES OF THE LEATHER AS YOU PULL THE LONGEST STRIP OF LACE. THIS WILL TIGHTEN THE LOOP AND HOLD THE HAIR TIE IN PLACE. TO REMOVE...PINCH THE SIDES OF THE LEATHER AS YOU PULL THE LOOP AND YOUR HAIR WILL SLIDE OUT. BY NOT USING PINS OR CLIPS, IT WILL GIVE YOU A NICE TRADITIONAL LOOK.

YOU CAN ALSO USE THIS NATURAL HAIR TIE AS A SMUDGING FEATHER.

I HAVE CLEANSED ( SMUDGED ) THE HAIR TIE AS THIS IS THE PROPER WAY.
