Vintage ski or snow jumpsuit and matching jacket by Columbia Sportswear, Co. The jumpsuit is an electric blue color with red trim that matches the color of the jacket. The lining is a lighter blue.
JUMPSUIT DETAILS: The tag identifies the fabric as 100% woven nylon and machine washable; made in Taiwan. It has dual zippers down the front (one on top of the other) and a long placket with velcro closures that covers the zippers. Opening the outer zipper makes the jumpsuit a bit larger. There are 2 upper and 2 lower pockets (with zippers) in the front; one zipper pocket on the inside left; one pocket with velcro flap closing on the left arm (perhaps to hold sunglasses?). The cuffs on both sleeves have velcro closing. Inside the nylon collar is a short rib knit collar. Elastic at the waist (in the back only).
JUMPSUIT MEASUREMENTS:
Backwaist length (neck/collar seam to center of backwaist elastic) = 19-1/2"
Back width at bottom of yoke = 22"
Sleeve length from cuff to shoulder seam = 22" (to collar = 31")
Chest = 21" (front only from arm to arm)
Waist = 36" (without stretching the back elastic)
Inseam length = 31-1/2"
JACKET DETAILS: Matching fleece jacket by Columbia Sportswear, Co. Made in U.S.A. - women's size large. 100% polyester; machine washable. Red with matching blue trim on the collar and the zipper ties (pulls). The jacket has zipper front closure; dolman sleeves; rib knit cuffs and band at waist; a zipper pocket on both sides
JACKET MEASUREMENTS:
Backwaist length (neck/collar seam to end of ribbing) = 24"
Sleeve length from cuff to collar seam = 29"
Chest (front measure from arm to arm) = 20"
Width lower edge = 30-3/4" (the rib knitting allows it to stretch much further)
CONDITION: The set is in very good used condition. No holes, no tears. I have not washed it and it is lightly soiled if you look closely - nothing that stands out. The zippers have all been tested and they work real good as does the velcro closures. The jacket looks like it has been washed once or twice - the slight pilling that fleece does with few washings.
