Just completed August 1st, 'Sunset of Hope' was painted digitally taking over 100 computer hours, digitally painting in each pixel at 1200% and then reduced to viewable size and on 'first printing' came out mirror imaged by a glitych in my printing system~
This Original Print is stunning, highly detailed, however, since the Signature is also mirrored~This 'error' only makes it more collectible as the image is stunning mirror imaged as well as in painted view.
It will come with a Certificate of Authenticity as the First Original Print - mirrored - and signed and stamped by me, the artists~
The idea incorporated in this painting is that the sky and sunset depict Jesus earthly ministry and a cross erected at the mouth of the harbor reinforces faith and trust in Him.The Lighthouse too is representing Jesus as being the Light of the World~
The original painting took over 100 hours and is done pixel by pixel and blended pain stakingly with well over 50,000 mouse clicks in my art software painting program, manually created~! This is not make from any photographs~ It is like many other odd collectibles - a one of a kind~! and named by the motivation behind its creation - the Sunset of Hope - when as we trust in the Lord, we can rise above our circumstances and embrace the ending of life with courage and peace, looking forward to the 'new day' we will awake in when we meet the Lord~!

It is printed on 13x19 inch Epson Glossy Professional Stock.
The image measures approximately 12.75 x 18.25 inches and is trimmable to cover mirrored signature as a 12x18 inch digital painting.
