Now that the glass covers for the Kettle Oven are again available it's time to start using this unit like it was meant to be. These brand new top and bottom Kettle Oven Wire Racks are fantastic! The racks were a part of the original set that somehow over the years were lost or misplaced. They measure in height 8 1/4" x width 10 1/4" round. These wire racks fit the Guardian Kettle Oven the Guardian Pressure Cooker and the Silver Seal Kettle Oven. They possibly fit other cookware too, check the dimensions! Now is the time to experience what these racks were designed to do. Their versatility allows you to bake your cakes and pies right on your stove top as well as making canning a breeze. As found in the 1935 Cookbook, "Haven't you often felt that you'd like to do some baking but were reluctant to light the oven because of the expense, heat or inconvenience? These versatile reproduced wire racks will expedite all your cooking needs. Here is your opportunity to complete your large roaster! These (2) wire racks originally came with your unit. These brand new bright nickel-plated wire racks will hold your 16-18lb turkey or large roast (for easy lifting and serving purposes). They also hold up to 8 jars(depending upon size) for simplified home canning. Both the top and bottom wire racks are included and have never been used. The measurements are 13-11/16" long x 8-15/16" wide x 6" in height. A piece of information for anyone that has a utility roaster. Guardian manufactured 2 sizes of wire racks for this unit. They found that when heat rises it cooks your (food) turkey faster so a slightly higher rack is more efficient and that is what we chose to remanufacture.
