AJ Foyt autograph & 1980 California 500 program

11th California 500 program. Sunday August 31,1980. Excellent condition, no folds or creases. Has cloth patch still attached to cover. Comes with unused scorecard and starting line up. In good shape, frayed and discolored around edges. Also pit & orange area pass, stamped but not signed, in fair condition with some creases & discolor with age. One unused Pennzoil "I was there" sticker dated 1980 CA 500. Track management went bankrupt and the speedway was deemed a financial failure. 1980 would be its last year of operation and the City of Ontario sold the track for $10 million to Chevron Land Management. The track was demolished in 1981 and remained vacant for several years until the mid-1980s when a Hilton Hotel was built on turn 4 of the old speedway site. We will also include a 1975 Norton invitation to carburetion day, signed on the reverse side by AJ Foyt.
